Lorsque la résolution numérique de certaines visualisations 3D
dépasse la puissance du processeur, une image furtive apparaît
alors quelques instants avant qu’elle ne soit recalculée par le logiciel.
Durant cette très courte période, les artefacts générés par le programme
révèlent une chimère à l’écran, sorte d’anomalie numérique qui déstructure
complètement les données axonométriques du système de spatialisation.
La série de dessins Aliasing réalisée à la craie sur papier Cordenon est inspirée
de ce principe d’aberration auto-générative qui se produit aléatoirement lors
des phénomènes de saturation d’un algorithme informatique.

When the numerical resolution of 3D images exceeds the processor power,
a furtive figure appears a few moments then before it is recomputed by
the software. During this very short period, the artifacts generated with the
program, reveal a « chimera » on the screen, like a numerical anomaly which
destroy axonometric data of the spatialization system. Aliasing drawings are
made with chalk on Cordenon paper. Patterns are inspired by this principle of
auto-generative aberration which occurs during the aleatoric time of the
saturation phenomena in the data-processing algorithm.
